Body and Appearance

1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?

5'7", slim but of an average weight. She has a little extra fat that adds some curve to her appearance, and longer legs.

2. How old is she?

20 years old.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?

Back straight, shoulders back, standing tall—Clarissa's body language radiates with the confidence of someone who sees herself above most overs and who doesn't doubt her abilities. Conversely, she slouches more when she's been knocked into a funk. Her posture and gestures are a good indicator of what's going on in her head.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?

Clarissa does her best to stay in shape, exercising regularly and trying to watch what she eats (which isn't always easy considering her financial situation and that most attempts to cook anything more complex than soup end in a destroyed kitchen). Staying in good physical condition helps make recovery from injuries easier. Thankfully she has a strong immune system and rarely gets ill, and she's quick to fight bugs off when she does.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

Clumsy. She frequently trips and stumbles while walking, and even standing still sometimes she can't keep from wobbling a bit. Her movements seem just slightly stiff, and her coordination is terrible. However, she moves with purpose, striding powerfully (if not exactly gracefully) from place to place. She's a fast walker, too, ever impatient to get from one place to the next.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?

If you can get past the bandages and frightening expression, Clarissa is hardly unattractive. She's slim and toned with plenty of soft curves, and what she lacks in a bust she makes up for with shapely legs—her best feature—and wide hips. Like with most things about herself, Clarissa is narcissistic levels of proud when it comes to her appearance. She's rarely fazed by her scars, but tends to dwell on them more on occasions of becoming physically intimate with someone. She does have a complex about her bandages, however, hating that they cause some people to see her as incapable.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?

Fair skinned, but her face is marred with bruises, cuts and scars.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.

Blonde, wavy, and very, very thick, to the point of being poofy (which is the mun's favourite adjective for Clarissa's hair ever, and likely the muse's least favourite). It has an insane amount of volume and tends to explode hilariously in damp or humid weather. Clarissa finds it difficult to tame and it takes a lot of work just to keep it presentable. It's layered and cut to around chin length, with a thick fringe that bounces up enough to form a sort of leaf-like point.

9. What color are her eyes?

Blue.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?

Her nose in particular always looks painfully bruised and sports a sticky-plaster due to how often Clarissa walks into things.

11. What are her chief tension centers?

Her jaw and her shoulders.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?

She's comfortable in most of her clothing, since she opts for higher-quality clothes that have a better cut and sit neatly.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?

Clarissa tends to wear her Team Rocket uniform even when off duty, and she could not be more at ease in it; donning the infamous red R gives her a sense of power. When she switches to civilian clothing she prefers smart blouses and skirts, but if she plans to socialise with other members of Team Rocket she'll opt for something ~~less blatantly posh~~ more casual and scruffy; she rather likes leather jackets, though hers are usually tacky fake leather due to the price.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?

Briefs.

Speech

1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?

Slightly deeper than middle range, but it goes higher when she's flustered; her voice has a harsh, strong tone.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?

Loudly and with force. She doesn't often hesitate (largely because she doesn't think, and thus comes out with a lot of insensitive and often stupid garbage) and she speaks with misplaced authority.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?

She emphasises words constantly. All the italics abuse, all the freakin' time. She often drops Gs and contracts words that shouldn't be contracted. Her dialogue uses plenty of slang and she drops in curses frequently. Her sentences are usually short and to the point, unless she feels like stopping to emphasise just how much something sucks.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?

...Whatever language they speak in her part of the Pokemon world.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?

Not really, no, though she'll have the decency to drop a little of her slang around her superiors.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?

You can hardly call it good impromptu speech, seeing as Clarissa rarely thinks about what she's saying, but yes, she is an impromptu speaker. Clarissa doesn't deliberate about what she's saying nor to whom, just speaks her mind...which, considering what's on her mind is rarely very nice, gets her into frequent trouble.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?

Somewhere in the middle, in that she's understandable but she's not good at putting complex ideas or feelings into words and over simplifies. Her eloquence can be dragged up a bit if she finds herself needing to sit down and talk about something important, and she's much less articulate when enraged.

Mental and Emotional

1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?

Average intelligence, but can appear stupider than she actually is. She's not stupid, but her brash, impulsive personality keeps her from using her thinking things through, so even if she's not stupid a lot of the things she does are. She has just enough book-smarts to get by, but she's much more street-smart, particularly because being street-smart means reacting to stimuli and situations happening in the moment; she's not one for forward planning. You don't last long in Team Rocket if you're not street-smart.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
